So we've started real "school" and everyone is very happy, except mama who misses her boys so much. (Don't worry, I'm finding ways to pass the time!) Here are the two school boys, with Matthias in there like a dirty shirt.

Willie's lovely classroom. Willie is one of those gratifying children who like to sit quietly and do worksheets, so no worries there. And Hugh?
Hugh and Matthias in Hugh's Montessori classroom, which, after a tent on a North Pacific beach, would be my favourite place to live. These pictures were taken about five seconds after arriving. Hugh is in heaven.
The nephews look very content to be at school. Very unlike my first day of Gr. 1, as I recall. Must be a marvellous little school.

ReplyDeleteSo they're going to Montessori for now instead of staying home? They look very handsome and the classroom inspiring. Why is "Welcome" spelled that way on the blackboard, out of curiousity?

ReplyDeleteYes, when we realized what Will's funding was like, we thought it would be best for all of us to send the boys to Wayside! They have a 4 day week, so Friday is still a homeschool day for us, and I'm way more productive now, as you can imagine! I can't wait to do it full time, someday.
